My name is Muhammad Salman, and I am a detail-oriented and highly motivated Software Developer based in Jamia Millia, Malir, Karachi. I am currently in the 8th semester of my Computer Science program. My objective is to apply my academic knowledge in a professional setting, contribute to a collaborative development team, and build high-quality software solutions. I am passionate about developing efficient and scalable applications and am committed to continuous learning and staying up to date with emerging technologies.
My technical expertise is built upon a strong foundation in software development principles, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), problem-solving, and Data Structures & Algorithms. I am skilled in programming languages including JavaScript, C, and Python. In web development, I have hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, DaisyUI, Aceternity UI, and ShadCN UI. For backend development and database management, I utilize Node.js, Express.js, MySQL, and MongoDB. My toolset includes Git, GitHub, VS Code, and Postman.
I gained practical experience as a MERN Stack Intern at Scitforte for two months. During this internship, I developed and optimized full-stack applications, assisted in database design, API development, and front-end integration, and implemented UI enhancements to improve user experience and performance.
My portfolio includes a dynamic and responsive Cricket Academy website developed using a full-stack technology stack that included Pug for templating, CSS, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. I also developed a responsive React-based portfolio website to showcase my projects, skills, and experience, featuring smooth navigation, animations with AOS, and React Icons.
My educational background includes pursuing a BSCS at Sindh Madressatul Islam University since October 2021 and attending GIAIC at Governor House, Karachi, since February 2024. I previously completed Pre-engineering at Government Superior College Science and Commerce (2019-2021) and earned a C & Java Certification from Aptech Metro Star Gate in 2021. I have also completed courses on Coursera regarding Front-end Web Development and Programming With JavaScript.
I am currently pursuing a BSCS at Sindh Madressatul Islam University, which I started in Feb 2022. I am currently in my 8th semester.
