I am writing to apply for the Data Engineer position at your company. I am currently a Computer Science student at Bahria University with hands-on experience in building data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data-driven applications. I am particularly interested in this role because it aligns with my passion for transforming raw data into meaningful and scalable solutions.
During my recent internship at 10Pearls as a Data Science Intern, I worked on real-world data problems involving data extraction, transformation, and workflow automation. I also developed a complete ETL pipeline using Apache Airflow, where I handled API-based data ingestion, automated workflows, and implemented monitoring systems. This experience strengthened my understanding of building reliable and efficient data systems.
In addition to my internships, I have worked on several projects that reflect my practical skills. For example, I built an Airbnb data pipeline where I scraped data, cleaned and structured it, and implemented semantic search using vector databases. I have also worked with tools and technologies such as Python, SQL, Pandas, PySpark, and MongoDB, along with experience in REST APIs and web scraping.
I am a quick learner and enjoy working with data at scale. I am especially interested in improving data workflows, optimizing pipelines, and contributing to data-driven decision-making within organizations. I would welcome the opportunity to bring my skills and enthusiasm to your team.
