My name is Usman Arshid, and I am a final year student at LUMS, Lahore, doing CS as a bachelor's degree. Having studied programming for (Actually 3 years because 1st year is Foundational), I have learned Python, Game development, MERN development, and React Native; I am eager to experience and contribute to SalSoft's exciting projects. My senior year project, Manzil, is a React Native Expo application integrating Google Maps, React Navigation, Expo Router, and Socket.IO.
Beyond development (not really), I've also started JuvoU. In this budget-friendly marketing agency, I created a website for the business, which took 1.5 months because I wanted it to be wild, and it is. I also work on digital strategies for businesses. This has given me hands-on experience in branding, SEO, and market research, allowing me to understand how to build software and make it impactful.
My education at LUMS and very minimal background really helped me grow, and it gave me the motivation and thought every day that this is nothing: I can do more and better - there is nothing that I can't do. Of course, as a human, I can't have all the knowledge, but I am willing to learn everything and anything and be humble about it.
